🔄 The Upgrade

We removed the entire existing system, including all electric heaters and the hot water cylinder, and installed a fully new gas central heating system.

✅ What We Installed

Worcester 1000 30kW combi boiler (5 year manufacturer guarantee)
EPH wireless thermostat for modern heating control
Plumbright system filter to protect the boiler and system
5 × Stelrad Halcyon double panel radiators
Thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs) on all radiators (10 year warranty)

This setup now provides instant hot water on demand and efficient, controllable heating throughout the home.

🛠 Overcoming Installation Challenges

Every job is different, and this one came with a few challenges.

Due to flooring restrictions, we were unable to lift floors to run pipework in the usual way. Instead, we designed and installed a drop-fed pipework system, ensuring minimal disruption while still delivering a high-quality finish.

All pipework was installed in copper using a press-fit system from Conex Bänninger, ensuring a strong, reliable and long-lasting installation.
