Another heating upgrade completed by Tayside Gas Services Ltd, replacing an existing Intergas combi boiler with a new Worcester Bosch 4000 30kW combi and upgrading several important parts of the installation at the same time.
More Than Simply Replacing The Boiler
For this recent installation, the existing Intergas combi boiler was removed and replaced with a modern Worcester Bosch 4000 30kW combi boiler.
Whenever we replace a boiler, we look beyond the appliance itself. The surrounding installation needs to be correct too, from the gas supply and condensate pipework through to the flue and protection of the heating system.
This project therefore included a number of upgrades designed to give the customer a safer, neater and more dependable installation for the years ahead.

Existing Intergas Combi
The existing Intergas combi boiler was removed along with the associated components that needed upgrading before the new Worcester Bosch installation could be completed.
New Worcester Bosch 4000
The finished installation features a Worcester Bosch 4000 30kW combi boiler together with upgraded pipework, system protection and a completely new flue arrangement.
What We Upgraded
A quality boiler installation is about much more than hanging a new appliance on the wall. Several parts of this system were upgraded to ensure the new boiler was installed correctly and protected for long-term use.

A new flue assembly was installed together with new external roof flashing, providing a properly finished and weatherproof installation.
Gas Supply Upgrade
The gas supply pipework was upgraded as part of the installation to ensure the new boiler receives the correct gas supply for safe and reliable operation.
System Protection
A system filter was installed to help capture circulating debris and provide additional long-term protection for the new Worcester Bosch boiler and heating system.
Condensate Upgrade
The condensate pipework was upgraded and terminated correctly, helping to remove the risk of the condensate freezing during particularly cold weather.
Worcester Bosch 4000
The new 30kW Worcester Bosch 4000 provides the customer with a modern, efficient and dependable combi boiler for their heating and hot water.
