Some boilers, mainly modern condensing boilers, which may require to be stripped down and cleaned through based on the results of initial safety checks, will require new seals and gaskets. If this is the case, we will discuss this with you in full before fitting any new components or parts to your boiler, as this will affect your price.

As part of your annual boiler service Dundee, we will email you a digital service record which includes all the details of your boilers health and condition. We will also activate a free annual digital reminder for when your next service is due, meaning you won’t ever miss a service in the years ahead. If you have a manufacturers logbook you require to be filled and signed for guarantee purposes, please have this ready for us during our visit and we will fill this out for you whilst on site.

As always, if there is anything we can do over and above your service, or you would like to discuss energy efficiency and cost saving measures, including new boilers or system upgrades, then please don’t hesitate to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way possible.

Repairs

Here at Tayside Gas Services, we understand that repairs are often unwanted, unexpected and costly. Whilst this is something we never want to occur, it is sometimes inevitable. As time has moved forward and energy efficiency has became more prominent, manufacturers have had to fit more components and more safety devices into appliances to improve efficiency, which means there is more to potentially go wrong.

Every repair is different, and every job requires a different approach. To help combat this, we offer fixed price repairs to all customers, which begin at 150£(excluding the cost any parts required to complete).

We offer a tiered approach to our repairs. When we arrive we will carry out the relevant fault finding and diagnose your fault as quickly and efficiently as possible. We will then discuss the nature of your fault and the work required to complete your repair. Whilst we do not charge a call out charge, our tiered pricing structure covers our labour from the moment we are en route to your property to us completing your repair.

We always aim to have your repair diagnosed and repaired within 2 hours, but If your repair will take a considerable amount of time to complete, then our labour charge will increase from 150£ to 240£. As always, we will discuss this with you in full before we carry out any work or fit any parts to your appliance.

All the above prices are inclusive of vat, and we will also produce a digital breakdown record for yourself to keep as proof of repair.
