We’ve just wrapped up a boiler installation in Dundee for a lovely customer in a 3-bedroom semi-detached house. Their old Worcester Bosch 28i combi boiler had served its time, but being a non-condensing model, it was outdated and nowhere near as efficient as today’s systems.
Out with the old, in with the 4000
We replaced it with a brand new Worcester Bosch 4000 30C combi boiler, one of the most popular models on the market right now. It’s a great all-rounder—quiet, compact, and ideal for homes like this one.
As Worcester Bosch accredited installers, we were able to offer a 10-year manufacturer guarantee, giving the customer real peace of mind for the long term.
Smart upgrades for a modern home
To bring the heating system fully up to date, we also fitted a Hive smart thermostat, allowing the customer to control their heating from their phone—perfect for keeping on top of energy usage (and bills).
We also installed a mini system filter to help protect the boiler from debris, and insulated the external pipework with Condensate Pro, which keeps things running smoothly when winter rolls in.

The install happened on one of those rare scorchers we get in Scotland—it was roasting! But the team powered through, and the whole job was completed smoothly and on schedule.
